The Pain family have lived at Billow Farm for almost 90 years. Originally dairy farmers, Simon Pain and his wife Hazel, have transformed the 350 acres of land into a state-of-the-art livery yard and organic farm, with conservation at its heart.
Set in the scenic Gloucestershire countryside, Billow Farm offers a range of livery services, boasting large stables, indoor and outdoor arenas, an impressive cross-country course and beautiful hacking trails.
Other facilities include a horse solarium, horse walker, and wash box. There is also an on-site rug-washing service and trailer hire available.
On the farm, great care is taken to provide and protect natural habitats for an abundance of wildlife, from hedgerows for dormice to crop cover for winter birds. And, as an organic farm, we never use pesticides.
We love what we do, and relish the opportunity to give others an insight into farm-life and conservation through our free educational visits for schools and charities. These sensory-rich sessions provide access to the great British countryside to those who may not otherwise be able to experience it, whether this be due to age, financial hardship or disability.
